What type of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a I.T.network installer job. I am certified in structured network cabling and Fiber Optics. (Hubbell and Siemen) 12 port to 150 port patch panel. 7' stand up rack or wall mount. 12 stand-24 strand Fiber panel. Expierence of more than 15 years.

What nationality are you?

American

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Ghana, I have a Fiance that lives in Accra and would like to relocate and marry her.

What countries have you worked in?

U.S.A. only

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Only America

What field do you currently work in?

Information Technology

What fields have you worked in before?

Telecomunications, HVAC, Overhead Fire Sprinkler Systems

What qualifications do you hold?

I have 27 years in the Telecommunications/Information Technology field. I worked for the State of Georgia/State Government for 20 years. I am currently Employed by a company in Georgia in the I.T. installation of structured cabling and Fiber computer Networks Systems.I have 3 years in the HVAC installation and Maintance.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I have a high School education and 27 years in the communication field. I know my skills are very valuable in the I.T. field. The skills that I have in the Information technology field are ones that you don't learn from a class room. Correct installation is important for communications networks to operate properly.

Describe the benefits of working with others

I enjoy working in a Team environment. When every one works together operations run smoother.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone means getting the job done regardlees of if you have help or not. Sometimes it is better and faster.

What was your worst working experience?

Driving an old company vehicle and the motor blowing up and stalling and holding up traffic.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

customer is always right and the hard way is the best way.

What unique skills do you have?

I work well with my hands and I'm in very good shape. I have good communications skills.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To install computer networks to help other countries come into the 21st century.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Getting to meet different people on the job and to work with others.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Sometimes working with people that are not as skilled as I am. Although I like to teach people my skills.
