Whereas formal education provides the requisite theoretical background required for application on the job, skills, generally acquired on the job over a period of practice, equips the individual with the needed experience, thus creating a balance for effective performance.

No man is an island, the saying goes! It can be beneficial in instances where people have to work with machinery and equipment. This is because one requires total concentration.
What was your worst working experience?
It happened when lightning struck and destroyed some of our broadcast equipment. The station went off air for a couple of weeks which led to the loss of audience share.
