Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education is more valuable than skills because an educated man is trainable and can acquire skills. However, skills are essential in the performance of any job. I will go for a man that has both formal education and relevant skills.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others has many benefits. However it also has demerits but the merits far outweigh the demerits.

A team of people working together is more likely to accomplish a task faster and achieve more comprehensive results than a man working alone. This is because each man brings his experiences and skills into the work thereby enriching the work environment and culture. And because of this diversity there is opportunity to learn and grow for the individual members. There is also higher client satisfaction because clients waiting time is greatly reduced. And because of improved client satisfaction the business becomes more profitable. This improve the economic gains of the business making investors to be satisfied and this may also mean better pay for the workers.

However, if a team is not properly managed conflicts could arise. This will result in team politics, quarrels and fighting among team members. This will in turn lead to poor performance and poor productivity with its attendant ills.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The benefits of working alone include feeling of being in charge without anyone to challenge or question your decisions but this can lead to self destruction. You might accomplish minor task faster because there are little interference but when it come to accomplishing major task it could take forever.
