What type of job are you looking for?

SOCIAL WORK To educate parents and children on teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. In addition i will like to educate local communities on the importance of formal education.

What nationality are you?

I am a Ghanaian.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak and write English and Ga. I also speak Akan very well.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Ghana , Togo and Nigeria. The reason is I am familiar with the Ghanian environment because i come from there. Togo because i worked at the British school in Togo for seven years. Nigeria because it is an English speaking country and my job in Togo brought me into contact with lots of Nigerian children and parents.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in Ghana and Togo .

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

Non as yet.

What field do you currently work in?

Currently i work in the field of Education.

What fields have you worked in before?

Education and Providing counseling services to the youth.

What qualifications do you hold?

I hold an M.Ed in Educational Administration and Management.(2000) I also hold a bachelors degree in Educational Guidance and Counseling (2008).

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal Education, because person with formal education is better informed on diseases and prevention, education on personal rights, subject selection and the world of work A person with skill would need formal education to help in correct measurement proper storage and investment prospect by linking business partners else where

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others helps to deliberate on issues and arrive at the right decision.By working with others one learns to be more tolerant..One learns to listen and adopt and adjust to people their behaviors and situation.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone, one learns to concentrate better and be independent minded.

What was your worst working experience?

My worst working experience was when i did not have the logistics to work with.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learnt to listen when i have to listen and be quiet when i have to be quiet.

What unique skills do you have?

Communication skill Listening skill Adapting skill Empathizing with others. Teaching

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A social worker with the local people on the field educating and counseling them on various issues.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Imparting knowledge, Counseling the emotionally disturbed,Giving parents and teenagers education on drugs, teenage pregnancy and other developmental issues.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

When I am hindered from performing my job due to lack of funds.. when after applying all my skill a client continues to to show signs of worry.
