I was teaching under Ghana Education Service but now I am reading English Language in KNUST which I will graduate from this year, june. What fields have you worked in before? Teaching, Ministry of as administrative assistant, Ghana Information service and Electoral commission,Ghana. What qualifications do you hold? I hold BECE,SSCE, Teacher's Certificate 'A' and currently a final year English student at KNUST. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I do sincerely consider the two going hand in hand Describe the benefits of working with others You are exposed to your weaknesses and they help you to work on them.you also develop team work skills which is needed by every employer. Describe the benefits of working alone In working alone you are able to do things at your own level of speed. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience is when my students get the grades of 1,2, and 3 in my subject at the BECE. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Most of my lesson have been wonderful but I say The Teaching of English is the most important lesson learnt as a student. What unique skills do you have? Written and oral communication skills. The skills poetry analysis skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is to lecture at the Tertiary level What are the most interesting aspects of your field? You make a lot of friends and enemies. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The Ghanaian society do not respect teachers. How can your field become attractive? The society should be educated on the importance of teachers in the country and teachers themselves should add some sort of professionalism to their work.
