English well spoken x2 What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Gibraltar, Been looking into the country for the last hour and looks amasing. Both me and liam could not ask for more in a summer working enviroment. What countries have you worked in? Enlgand What countries do you have a visa to work in? England at the moment, but will be looking into the visa situation shortly What field do you currently work in? We are both full time students at university. I currently work at a Pitcher and Piano which is a highly regarded chain of upper class cocktail bars. Liam has worked as a bar manager in a buisy country pub/restaurant for a year but is currently just focusing on his studies. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked as a bike mechanic, a waiter, a kitchen porter and a barman. Liam has worked as a waiter and a barman in several different pubs. What qualifications do you hold? We both hold 11 GCSE's each. I have 3 A levels: Business studies, Philosophy and ethics, and product design. Liam has A levels in Buisness studies, Philosophy and ethics, and physicology Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? When it comes to bar work, I would say experience and the right attitude is more important than education, as past a certain point, when basic maths etc has been learnt there doesn't seem to be that many parallels between higher education and bar work (at least in my experience). Describe the benefits of working with others There are many advantages including motivation on the job, more educated decisions and increased efficiency. Describe the benefits of working alone Focus on the job may be higher? What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Keep calm and deal with the situation in an efficient way. What unique skills do you have? Cocktail knowledge. Liam has Bar manager skills What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
