They are both as valuable as each other. You cannot learn new skills and provide care without the underpinning knowledge of why you are providing it.

What was your worst working experience?
I wasa newly qualified nurse and rceived a written warning on an event that was not my own fault and no harm came to anyone. It was a drug checking error, and i was repremanded for not involving the supervisor on call and listening to more senior clleagues,basically taking what they said and did as correct. It was a harsh learning curve and not something i have repeated since. I learnt not to take anything a colleague however senior to be crrect if i am not happy with the situation.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
To be treated with respect and equally whtever backgraound you come from and not be judgementalin my care provision.
What unique skills do you have?
I can adapt to most situations..I have a lot of knowledge of specific areas of care. I am at my happy whn i am learning and always looking for challenges
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
One where i was knowledgeable on all aspects of. A job that i know could perform well and make a difference. A position that could involve introducing positive changes and be able to improvise and implement the changes.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
I enjoy all areas of my field. The ever changing evidence based information and implementing it into practise
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
none except the non-positive structure changes of the NHS local and national
Where would i like to be in five years?
I would like to be involved in research and development of current practices in differnt contries. I would want to be in more senior position in another country other than the UK. I would like to be in the processes of contrasting different countries provision of care and be able to introduce conducive practices into my work whichever country i was living in
