Work in Paros island,CycladesWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a full or part-time job , in accounting. An alternative would be to work as a secretary,receptionist or whatever has to do with servicing people and solving problems of organizing things. What nationality are you? Greek What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Greek-excellent English-excellent(CPE of Cambridge) Italian-very good (C.E.L.I.4 della Universita di Perugia) German-beginner(1 academic year with private tutor) What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Paros island in Cyclades,Greece , because i live there with my family for four(4) years now and i have my own house . I wouldn't mind in the long future (in about in 6-7 years when my son finishes his education) to work also in Asia. What countries have you worked in? Greece What countries do you have a visa to work in? Apart from Europe-as a European citizen-nowhere else. What field do you currently work in? I just closed my private Accounting and Consulting office in Athens as it became too tiring ,and non-profitable anymore ,to come and go back to Paros every month. What fields have you worked in before? Secreterial Duties,Public Relations ,Accounting Assistant. What qualifications do you hold? I have finished Lycieum in N.Psihiko-Athens area. I have followed lessons in private institutions about Secreterial Duties and Accounting. I have the permission to teach English in Greece by the Ministry of Education. I have the permission to keep accounting books (Grade C)from the Economic Chamber of Greece. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think that both are also important,but i was working before i studied (in private institutions)and most of the lessons were too easy for me after the experience.... Describe the benefits of working with others Human touch ,learning(everyone has something to teach you). Describe the benefits of working alone You can always be more concentrated at your job,and have the responsibility for all the projects done only by you,but I believe what I liked more all these years,was that I could arrange my working time as I liked. What was your worst working experience? I was very lucky ,and all my jobs seemed to be normal. The only bad experience i had was the Greek laws that change almost every day,and it was really hard to consult my customers about what to do with their companies. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That you can really love something without a soul...your job. For me the most happy moments were when i could help someone to solve a problem. What unique skills do you have? I cannot say if there is any unique skill in my resume... only that i love to learn new things,to travel,and dealing with people. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Teaching English in Bali...i already started to study for my TEFL. O.k.,that is a "dream job",but now I would be pleased with a nice environment and smilling faces. I also like better to have a project to finish and I decide the hours I work to get it done.(I was a freelancer for many years...) What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Finding solutions ,be prompt with deadlines,and always be ahead of Public Services in learning the laws and their changes in order to prove myself right.(althoug it is a little selfish,I like it). What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The book-keeping...nothing really interesting in that. What do you like to do in your free time? I love travelling in Bali,and staying the most time i can. Reading literature in Greek,English and Italian.Gardening(i have my own vegetable garden).Walking in the mountain we live with my husband and son of 12 y.o. after the rain.Cooking new recipies from all around the world.Trying to learn a little German and Bahasa Indonesia by my own.
