summer harvest job Hi, I am highly interested in joining your team of fruit pickers this year. I am a young, fit and strong team-player that loves working in the great outdoors. Originally I am from Belgium, but since five years we tend a community style farm in the heart of Andalucia, South Spain. On our farm we try to strive to be as self sustainable as possible. We tend organic gardens, tree nurseries and reforestation projects, alternative eco buildings and generally trying to create a natural habitat in harmony with the surroundings. Our love goes out to nature and living in the great outdoors. To make a living over the last five years, I make eco structure (yurts, domes, tipis) and do seasonal harvest work all over Europe. I have a great deal of experience harvesting fruits and vegetables in different parts of Europe: Strawberries and leeks and endive in Belgium Apples and pears in Belgium Blueberries in France Grape harvests in France and Spain Apricots, apples, pears in Switzerland And chestnuts and oranges in Andalucia Before I came to Andalucia, I used to work on a farm in Belgium, which main production was strawberries in spring and summer and endives and leeks in wintertime. Well adapted to working outside in all sorts of weatherconditions, I am well familiar whith the physical conditions required to work 8/9 hours a day in the fields. I am a teamplayer and love working with all sorts of people from different backgrounds and nationalities. I am a hard worker. Currently I am looking for a harvest job in Greece as I am planning a trip for three months in Greece, starting approx half july I would love to part part of your team of fruitpickers this year and to experience harvesting in Greece ( which I have never done). I am the holder of a Belgium passport and am completely entitled working in Greece for up to three months. I speak French, Dutch, English and Spanish. Hope to hear from you soon Kind regards.
