Guam or anywhere in the world What field do you currently work in? My last job was a Third Party QA/QC civil material inspector in LNG plant construction project. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked as a QA/QC civil inspector in LNG construction projects in Nigeria and in Qatar. I have also worked as a Civil material testing Engineer/supervisor in major road and high rise building and pipeline construction projects in UK and in Egypt. What qualifications do you hold? 1) Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering(London). 2) Ordinary National Diploma in Civil and Mechanical Engineering (London). 3) Post graduate basic diploma studies in Rock Mechanics. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? When we consider Managerial and senior level positions formal education is necessary and more valuable. Describe the benefits of working with others I learn the benefit of working as a team with other staff. When I work with higher experienced professionals I benefit with their knowledge and when I work with less experienced staff I am happy to share my skills with them. Describe the benefits of working alone When I work alone I can concenterate and pay more attention to my job. What was your worst working experience? When my subordinates fail to maintain punctuality I have had to warn and penalise them which I do not like to do very often. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The ability to recognise and generate non conformance issues and to to generate the corrective measures. What unique skills do you have? The ability to adjust my self to the new kind of job situation without panick. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? When I have job satifaction I consider it as the dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? To execute my job satisfactorily without allowing any room for failures or mistakes to the best of my knowledge. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Adjusting my self to new environments and getting along well with superiors and subordinates.
