Looking for a job as Mechanical/Piping EngineerWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for Oil and Gas Construction/Operation Jobs as Mechanical or Piping Engineer or as per my qualification. Work as a permanent employee where i can utilize my full support to the company and apply my profession, knowledge and experience. What nationality are you? I am a Filipino citizen from Philippines What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am speaking in English at very good level and intermediate in Bahasa Malay/Indonesia, Arabic, and Korean. I am Looking to work in Guam, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia,Singapore,Japan, Libya, New Caledonia, and country like Canada, Australia, EU & UK becuase there is a good opportunity of work. What countries have you worked in? I already work in Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates and in Libya. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I does not have any Visa right now to work in other country, I had before in Libya but due to uprising my Visa was expire. Normally if I apply for a job abroad, the recruiting agent or the company itself is sponsoring my work visa. What field do you currently work in? I worked before in Oil Operation facilities as Maintenance Planning Engineering. What fields have you worked in before? The field I worked in is Oil and Gas Industry, utilized mostly in construction and commissioning work like EPC,project like conoco FPSO, F&G jack up drilling rigs, as Production Engineer (Mechanical/Piping), I have also experience as Maintenance Planning Engineering, Commissioning Supervisor, safety officer,quantity tracker, material expediter, operator technician, and industrial technician for manufacturing company. What qualifications do you hold? My Qualification is I am holding a Diploma of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Degree and my work certifications abroad also authenticated documents. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Most valuable is education-you need to have a full education and hold at least a diploma in order to have better chance in applying a job and promotion and other entitlement in the company. Second is skills yo have to enable you to grow more by developing your skill and gain more experience in the job. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others is very interesting and challenging. You need to put more respect to person and their belief. You will gain more knowledge and new ideas, exchange of strategy in the work with new innovation and technology for I.T. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone will increase your knowledge and become more resourceful in finding ways to accomplish something in the work, become more efficient and effective by doing things carefully. You will be more competitive than others and do not rely on others suggestions. You will be one of the company big factor or you will be the champion of certain position of the company or an asset. What was your worst working experience? my worst working experience is that when I was having a project of 7 new jack up drilling rig projects, I am handling also 6 production engineers, at least 400 manpower and 4 different sub contractors and attend the daily progress and completion meeting and make a work package for weekly and monthly schedule plan. If there is one mistake in my department, my boss is not supporting me instead he is trying to point me in the meeting. It is worst if your Boss or department head will not support you and not work as a team. A good team is to support each other and assist each other and make proper coordination. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? My most important lesson I have learn in my career is that you should not suppose to say I will do it/and take the mistake of others. Do not promise anything to the person if you cannot make it. Give someone a chance to develop themselves in the work, and do not give them all the ideas, instead give them step by step procedure for the work. Planning is the most important,procedure, and material availability to complete your job schedule. What unique skills do you have? The unique skill I have is that I am working more than the company's requirement, I am finding solution to the constraints. I am taking my work to my room becuase it is better to study the projects schedule or whatever job you have done wasting the time for nothing. I am preparing also my work for the other day, review and revising work procedure and maintenance procedure, I am a multi discipline Engineer, can coordinate to client, sub-contractors. Motivated and efficient, resourceful and eager to complete job in time schedule. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A permanent employee would be my dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Most interesting in my field is that you are considering the changes made in the field by actual installation than the design itself. Revising and updating the engineering AFC drawing as Red line Marked for final issue for the client. Solving constraints, site inspection, punch listing & clearing and be aggressive and put more effort to the job. I have full coordination to other departments. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? there is no least.
