English What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I seek employment in Guam. I was once stationed on the Naval Base during my tour in the Navy. I found the people, environment very pleasant and similar to Florida, where I was raised. What countries have you worked in? Health Care Information Technology, Instructor for Computer Network Technology, DELL server support, School system IT, Automotive Industry IT, US Military IT. What qualifications do you hold? A+ Certification, Net+ Certification, Associates Degree in Computer Engineering. Certifications can be verified at COMPTIA website. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills. I feel there is no replacement for actual hands-on knowledge; theory can't match real-world experience, but formal education does provide a solid foundation in which to build those skills. Describe the benefits of working with others Without a doubt, it gives the ability to learn from other's experiences and share your knowledge Describe the benefits of working alone It is a chance to test your skills and resourcefulness, while giving the sense of independence. What was your worst working experience? I part not arriving to a site on time and seeing the business not able to maximize its profit potential because of it. It was quite frustrating. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Follow all company policies and procedures. What unique skills do you have? The ability to work as a Help Desk Tech. and deal directly with a customer. And the ability to work as a field tech. In the IT field, being able to work with customers in a polite and effective manner is crucial. Some techs don't have the required patience working with other people of less knowledge. I feel I do. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Work as a data center IT which includes global travel as part of the job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
