I have to talk to people, be with people mingle with them and make sure that I get what I want by the end of our conversation or better yet, he/she would be interested in what I do or the company that I work with. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak & write in English fluently. I can speak and read Hebrew a little. Tagalog is my mother tongue. What State are you looking to work in and why? Right now, I like Guam or Saipan or the main land. It doesn't really matter for as long as I will be accepted and I will earn my dollars soon. All I care about is that I will get the job regardless of which State I will be working. I am willing to relocate if job calls for it. What field do you currently work in? I am a journalist by profession. And I do well in organizing events. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked at local mall; I became a waitress in a fine dining restaurant in Israel. I have been a secretary at a local office in Makati, Philippines. I have imported local clothing company from the Philippines to Israel. Promoted several establishments in Israel as well. What qualifications do you hold? I am just a High School Graduate who has a lot to offer and a wide initiative to learn. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Well, base on my own experience, I'd say skills because I have been there, and done that while the rest are still studying about it. There’s no better teacher but time and there's no better student but your own experience. Describe the benefits of working with others (If my new job would require me to work as a team) -you minimize the working time. -you get a lot of different opinions which can generate potential ideas. -MORE HEADS are better than ONE. Describe the benefits of working alone (If my new job would require me to work alone) -you can actually decide on your own and get all the responsibility in your shoulder. -You act as you think and decide. -Your opinion will matter because you did it by yourself and will certainly stand up for what you believe is right. -You can generate pros & cons and can tally a greater answer. What was your worst working experience? One of the correspondents isn't ready for his article. What others do best, I can't do. But when you are the managing editor of a certain magazine, you will see to it that what others can do, you should be able to come up with the same idea as well. You shouldn't fail your readers. On one of the events I organized. The cd ain't working or one of the intermission numbers is not ready. I must have back up performers ready, as a host to my own event, I have to make sure that whatever happen, the people should enjoy and the show must go on. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Trust your instinct, it is always right and don't mix business with pleasure. Make sure you have understood the agreement/conditions before signing it. What unique skills do you have? I can come up with a good answer or I can surprise the person I talk to without them knowing it. They will surely leave my company content with full of ideas as to how they can improve whatever they do best or just simply be happy for the food for thought I have shared. And believe me, I don’t even know how I can do that! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Be with people. Organizing events, hosting it. To see people are enjoying. To capture and be part of their happiest moment. To serve them. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? You get to meet new people everyday and if I do well or have served them well, I only don't get a thank you but a warm smile and a tight hug as well. That feels good! What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Sometimes I get frustrated when I can't help them or find sponsors for them especially if I have interviewed/meet people who are sick or in need of medical attention. Or they have been released from work illegally. Or if they are arrested for illegal stay. I feel hopeless when I can't help much. And there are times that I can get emotionally attached with the situation. But so far I have managed not do it anymore. Why do you think we should hire you? Well, as I have mentioned earlier, I am a fast learner, I have worked based on my own experience and generated income out of that talent. I am outgoing and open minded.
