I could speak both English and Filipino What State are you looking to work in and why? I'm looking forward to work in Guam, because I can see that this state has been truly developed in terms of its economy, and there are a lot of schools that hire Filipino teachers. What field do you currently work in? I work in a private school. What qualifications do you hold? I took up my bachelor's degree, (Bachelor of Arts major in English). I have a certificate of 18 units in education and passed the licensure examination for teahers, and currectly taking up masters degree (Master of Arts in Teaching - English Language Arts) at Philippine Normal University- manila Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider formal education because at this point in time, you could be more skillful and creative if you go through formal schooling. A lot of things are to learned in school and with these you could easily work in any skill you want to be known with.. Describe the benefits of working with others When you work with others, there are many things you will learn with. Like, how to deal with them, how to be patient in handling troubles in and out of work, and let's face it, we also learn from our peers in terms on how we improving our work. Describe the benefits of working alone Once you're hired and things are to be done alone, the benefit is that you could finish your task immediately. What was your worst working experience? So far I haven't experienced worst with my work. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned so much as a teacher. First, how to get along well with my co-employees,second how to become more effective teacher to my students because I went through seminars and trainings, And lastly, I realized that teaching is really a noble profession, because we don't see money in it but the passion to teach kids whether they pay you or not. What unique skills do you have? I extend my help/hand to my students in spite of problems. No matter how hard it is. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I consider my 'dream job' as an administrator of my own school. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting is that when the parents of my students approach me and saying that their kids have developed their study habits because of me; and when the students approach you and say "thank you" . What are the least interesting aspects of your field? If I encounter troubles with the students I handle.
