Prince 2 Project management certified Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills are more important as you learn from real experiences. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work is important as a pool of knowledge is better then one mind working on a problem. Describe the benefits of working alone Can go at your own pace work whenever a brain wave hits you ie at night and can concentrate on areas dictated by yourself and not the team. What was your worst working experience? Being blamed for something that was out of my control. Project was delayed due to late software testing. I was assured that everything would be ready on time until the last minute when it was too late to plan contingencies. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Don't trust anyone. Always expect the worst but hope for the best. What unique skills do you have? Enjoy technical learning as much as I enjoy learning about politics, natural sciences, travel writing etc. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working on a problem where I have feree rein to do whatever is required to achieve results. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Technology makes peoples lives better. Better health, better educations and better communication. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? People who have the latest technology have an upper hand over those who don't. This gives an unfair advantage to the developed nations. It is a very competitive world out there.
