Request What type of job are you looking for? I am an Ornithologist by profession but am also involved widely in Conservation of birds,mammals and people. I do conduct conservation awareness program amongst the school children once a month in a rural areas of Nepal. I do also carry out surveys on the declining populatiuon of birds. Formal education or skills and why? Bit of both but would go for formal Education because one must be educated to know what and why he or she is doing. Describe the benefits of working alone One could concentrate highly on what he or she doing though not for a long time. What was your worst working experience? Working with the tribal community in Nepal. I was trying to motivate people for the conservation but they would not let me in as the fear in their mind was I would convert their children to some other religion. I succeeded as I pretended of the same tribal group but from the west of Nepal What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never say yes unless you are selfconvinced. What unique skills do you have? I am not only a Conservationist but also a BIRD RINGER(BANDER). What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working with the Poors and elders as well as any job related to Conservation What are the most interesting aspects of your field? You wait hours for a single bird and all of a sudden you get a dozen which deducts the hunger and thirst What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
