Afghanistan,and Haiti, Iraq Kuwait, UAE,Saudi Arabia,Bahrain Africa.I would love to work in Haiti, My grandmother is Creole and speaks French and so does my mother. I only understand it. I love the wholefrench culture and Haiti needs the help. I took a trip to Qatar and Loved it and have tring to get a job in the Middle East every since. What field do you currently work in? Nursing,I am Currently, a Apheresis Nurse Specialist,for a drug company. and I work my agency in med surg when I am not at my regular job. What fields have you worked in before? Medical Surg, NICU, Nursery,ICU,ER, postpartum,OB-GYN,Geratrics, ambulatory care Clinic, Bariatrics, What qualifications do you hold? Nurse for 27 years, ACLS,BCLS IV certified. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills is definitely more valuable, I don't care how highly educated you are if you don't have the skills to go along with the education you are useless. Describe the benefits of working with others Personally, it's the satisfaction of helping some one who you don't know and have that person say thanks. Describe the benefits of working alone Well, when working alone you know what you know, and you can only rely on yourself and if you have strong skills then you are ok.You will have no conflict, self dependent, self starter. What was your worst working experience? One night I was working at a new place that I never been before, when I arrived 2 other nurses also arrived that had never been there before. Well, we had 42 patients and no orientation to that particular floor. Oh by the way, the only nurse that had worked there before was floated to another unit,so it was just us.That night we has 2 codes and we did not get out of that place until 12noon the next day.I never went back there!!!!!!! What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Just because a nurse has license, does not mean she knows what she is doing. What unique skills do you have? I am a people person and I have the gift of gab. I am very friendly and I can sell snow to a snowman....All jokes aside, I am excellent with IV's....That is my Knack!!!!!!!! What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in another country, making money, and absorbing up another culture(ie Afghanistan, Haiti, Iraq) I love it!!!!!!!! What are the most interesting aspects of your field? BEING ABLE TO WORK ALMOST ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD AND GET A JOB!!!!! What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
