I am looking forward to working in Haiti in that I want to be a part of the rebuilding of that Nation so as to restore the good living condition of the people there that they may live a better life. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in Ghana and Liberia. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have a visa to work in Liberia. What field do you currently work in? I work in the IT field. What fields have you worked in before? I haven't worked in any other field before. What qualifications do you hold? I am a Microsoft certified Systems Engineer and an Experienced VSAT installer. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider formal education and skills because they are all knowledge and but formal education gives you a higher position and better wages. Describe the benefits of working with others I take the benefit of working with others as an advantage to learn from them and also teach them. In this case you build a team which is better. Describe the benefits of working alone I really don't see any benefit of working alone. What was your worst working experience? This was a time when I was ill and asked my boss to go to the hospital and he denied me in that I was the only Systems administrator of the organization and there was not a problem with the system that afternoon. So I had to stay there with very high fever. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? This most important lesson I learnt throughout my career is to ask when ever in doubt and be very polite in communicating with clients that are putting you under pressure. What unique skills do you have? communication with clients in times of downtime that they will have patience. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I will consider my dream job being a Systems Engineer What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Server configuration and VSAT setup. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I have nothing of less interest in IT. What will you like to see in Haiti after working there for four years? I will like to see all school, offices and even homes having access to Internet technology and the people of Haiti if not all, the majority being computer literate.
