| Elementary School Teacher--Bachelor of Arts in EducationHaiti is in turmoil more often than not. Its present situation of post earth quake and pre-election does not seem to bode well for keepingteachers to their contracts. I have past experiece with both Haiti's importance placed on education as well as its unique dangers to its students and teachers. Haiti calls to me since my first visit in 1983. Therefore, I am seriosly considering a teaching position in Haiti. I have roots in Jacmel Haiti, yet would consider a position of greater need elsewhere in Haiti. |
