Seeking Job in HospitalityWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a job on supervisor or even management level in a event oriented business, such as conference center, banquesting department, wedding agency etc. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? German (fluent) English (fluent) French (good) Italian (basic level) What State are you looking to work in and why? I would like to work in Hawaii because I think this state has an interesting connection between its culture, natural environment and a florishing industry! What field do you currently work in? I am finishing my Bachelor degree in hospitality management at the moment and I am working at the same time as an intern at the Hotel Amigo in Brussels in the Sales and Marketing department. What fields have you worked in before? I have been working in several Hotels mainly on the operational level at the reception, housekeeping, bars and restuarants. Moreover I have worked as duty manager, night audit manager and housekeeping supervisor in the training hotel of my university. Here I have been training and supervising fellow students of a lower semester. What qualifications do you hold? In september I will obtain a Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management at the Hotelschool The Hague, member of the leading hotelschool of the world. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? education and skills are both very important and in my opinion facilitate and enable each other in achieving goals. Describe the benefits of working with others working in a team has the benefit of suporting each other, learning from each other and especially achieving goals quicker and to a higher level! Describe the benefits of working alone sometimes it is easier to focus on the task at hand! What was your worst working experience? an netire night shift with 40 degrees fever, noone was available to take over when I got sick. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? communication is the key to everything!
