| 44 Jobs Cut at Hawaii's Sea Life Park Hawaii's famous marine life could use a few good visitors... and so could employees at Sea Life Park because due to the decline in ticket sales and park attendance... the marine attraction's only way to cut back on operating costs is to lay off 44 full and part-time workers. The park's management team announced the layoffs on Thursday morning and mentioned that only a fifth of the 200 workers would be let go. The also stated that several laid off employees are summer hires which will stay on the payroll until the end of August. |
