Security JobWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a job that will let me continue using the skills I have acquired in the US Army. I was in the Infantry, and also deployed for 15 months with the 25th Infantry Div on Oahu. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak English fluently, and I am also beginning to learn Japanese. What State are you looking to work in and why? I am looking for work mainly on Oahu, because that is where my fiancee is located. What field do you currently work in? I recently just got Honorably Discharged from the US Army, because my contract was completed. Right now I am unemployed looking for a job to stay on this beautiful island. What fields have you worked in before? I have only worked with the US Army doing security work as a Infantryman Team Leader. How are your interpersonal skills? I am really great with working with others! I was a team leader while deployed to Iraq, so I know how to take care of others before myself. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Even though they both hold their pros and cons. I say skills are a better attribute to have, formal training is located in classrooms while skills are taught with hands on experience. Describe the benefits of working with others The feeling of a team effort, and helping one another is indescribable. Describe the benefits of working alone Almost the same as team accomplishment, self accomplishment boosts self- respect and confidence in your own ability. What was your worst working experience? Someone telling me how to do something, when so said person did not have a clue on how to do it himself. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Work as a team! What unique skills do you have? Interpersonal skills, Attention to detail, Troubleshooting and Problem Solving, Reliable, Flexible to try new things or see new places What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Personal Trainer for celebrities. What were the responsibilities you were given while deployed? Lead/Train Fellow Soldiers during Combat Operations, Set up Tactical Control Points/Road Blocks with Vehicle Search, Patrol Iraqi Civilian Neighborhoods What are some of your interests outside of the work area? I am really huge on the fitness area. I also like training others so they can obtain their goals. My fiancee is a huge interest as well. What dates were you in the military?
