I am looking for any job related to that field. I am a British passport holder (which I hope may be useful.) What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Good english communication skills (first and primary language used at home) What State are you looking to work in and why? I am currently residing in the Philippines and would like a fresh start / jumpstart my career in Hawaii since it is best known for its vacation spots, hotels, etc. What field do you currently work in? I currently work for a big and well managed beach resort in the Philippines which offers a wide array of services and caters to mostly foreign nationals. What fields have you worked in before? I have work experience as a call center agent(managing clients busy schedules and emails, inbound and outbound calls/sales) and beach resort/hotel receptionist (providing customer service, manage schedules/bookings,reservations etc) What qualifications do you hold? Nursing/Healthcare educational background but particularly interested in the field which I have work expreience. I have managed big food caterings for different occasions, receptionist providing excellent customer service; good telephone/communication and internet skills as call center agent at offshore callcenter company. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is more valuable because it builds us up and prepares us in starting a career. It is the basic and primary key to success; but at the same time, skills help us improve in our field of work as well as helping us become a well-rounded proffesional. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others always makes a team. Two heads are always better than one. Working as a team and building up the work-realtionship always has a good outcome and excellent result. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone may be challenging to an individual but can also help in the areas of critical thinking and decision-making which are essential. What was your worst working experience? I cannot think of anything worse in my work experience. Challenges, trials and mistakes happen but I always make the best out of everything and learn from it so I may apply and move on forward to becoming a better individual/professional What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The most important lesson in working that I have learned is probably Equilibrium/Balance. In general, we have to balance everything. A whole day hard job for me will be no different than an ordinary day at work. I have learned to prepare myself in different kinds of situations and relating to different customers. In my field of work, I have learned to balance, think twice and not rushing in to decisions, not giving up on a difficult task but instead try to weigh things first and look on the brighter side. What unique skills do you have? I can manage client's very busy schedules. despite my healthcare educational background, I have good computer skills and have managed and maintained CRM for clients. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Hotel Manager What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
