Searching for jobs in HondurasA couple of months ago I flew into Tegucigalpa with the intention of finding a job.I am Honduran descent as my grandfather was from there. He married an American lady and they had my father. Then he also married and American, my mother. So I am of mixed heritage, but my parents always insisted that I think of myself as Honduran, at least partially so. So, when I graduated from college with a B.A. in Business Administration, I figured that I would have a chance of getting a good job in Honduras. I spent nearly a month walking around and searching in the newspapers. Turns out the only offer I got was teaching English. Not a bad offer, but I figured that I couldnīt just forget my degree and teach English. So I am going back home! Cheers! |
