I will always prefer Honduras because its my home country but anywhere in the world where I can make a difference. What countries have you worked in? Honduras, US What countries do you have a visa to work in? Only Honduras at the moment, but I wouldn´t mind getting visa to work in another country What field do you currently work in? Currently I´m working at the Honduras Agriculture Department as an International Cooperation Officer What fields have you worked in before? I have always work at NGO involving agriculture and rural development What qualifications do you hold? I am a Agro Industry Engineer graduated from the Zamorano University Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think formal education gives you the basic ground of certain field, however I do believe that skills are very valuable, because skills is something you can´t learn out of a book. Describe the benefits of working with others I believe working with other, combine everyone skills and therefore gives the company or association a higher probability to reach the goals Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone give you the oportunity to work at your own time and the chance to overcome yourself. You know its your time and your result only, it depends on you and only you.. What was your worst working experience? My worst working experience, I will have to say was when I was somehow sexually harassed. The instant I felt this person was trying to persuaded me I talked to my supervisor and put an end to that. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Working hard is rewarded and learn from all the people you have worked with. I have learned always something from each person. What unique skills do you have? I´m a hard working woman, ready to learn everything I need to and I´m a perfectionist What would you consider as your 'dream job'? a dream job will be one where I can contribute to my country and the world nutritional deficiencies in kids What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspect of my field is that everyone needs to eat, everyone needs a proper nutrion to develop themselves as persons. Agriculture is needed everywhere by everyone and as a profesional of this field I´m responsible to improve the world food systems What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
