Working with our Senior Electronics Traders, you will be responsible for locating and procuring excess parts (integrated circuits) inventories at original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) and contract manufacturers (CM’s) around the world, particularly in Asia and Europe with an emphasis on developing beneficial asset recovery relationships.
Specific Responsibilities
The International Electronics Buyer:
• Maintains schedule to optimally communicate with global companies.
• Develops, manages and grows international account base.
• Uses various lists and references to intensively pinpoint OEM’s and contract manufacturers to develop relationships and procure excess IC parts inventories.
• Negotiates pricing with pre-determined targets in mind.
• Leverages buying relationships to also identify sales opportunities with OEM’s and CM’s.
• Arranges parts delivery for optimum freight costs and resale.
• Authorizes payment of invoices or return of merchandise.
• Conducts meetings with sales personnel to introduce new merchandise.
Candidate Qualifications
• Highly motivated professional with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Outbound procurement and sales experience preferred
• Strong desire to financially succeed
