Microsoft specialistWhat type of job are you looking for? My current knowledge and past work experience defines me as a system and network administrator. What nationality are you? I am Hungarian. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak fluently English and I speak some basic German and Finnish. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? In Reykjavík, Iceland. My wife studies here and I have to support our living here. What countries have you worked in? In Hungary and in Finland. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I am an EU citizen, so I can work in any EU countries and where visa is not required (like in Iceland). What field do you currently work in? Currently I am a job seeker, I don't have any workplace yet. What fields have you worked in before? I was working in IT field as a technician, technical advisor, salesman, network administrator, web designer and programmer. What qualifications do you hold? I am currently writing my thesis to finish my studies at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences as a facility manager. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Most of my skills and knowledge are coming from my work experience, but I am very proud of my MCP title. I am pursuing to upgrade it to a Microsoft Certified System Administrator, then to upgrade that to be compatible with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Describe the benefits of working with others Working as a team member offers to see a problem / situation from different point of view so this may result better achievements. Also it offers help from each other because of the different skills and knowledge what the team members have. Describe the benefits of working alone I can show my values more easily, I can show in what fields I am the best. What was your worst working experience? Working as a cleaner in Finland. I felt wasting my talent doing such a job, but I had no other choice: this was my only way to support my living there. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? First of all: constant training. In the IT field I have to be up-to-date all the time to keep the pace of technical evolution. I also learnt in many cases that hard work pays off good, so I should not be lazy. What unique skills do you have? I have strong problem-solving skills, I am a good team member, I am able to adopt multi-cultural environment, good technical skills What would you consider as your 'dream job'? System and/or network administrator What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Operating and maintaining a large corporate network, solving everyday challenges and problems, examining future development possibilities. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
