Eg heiti John Regan, og eg er fra Bandarikjunum. Fyrirgefdu, eg tala svolitla islensku. I don't speak very much Icelandic, but I am a fast learner, and nothing would please me more than being able to spend Summer 2008 (late June - late August) working in Iceland. My familiy is originally from Iceland, so I have relatives to stay with in Reykjavik, Kopavogur, Hafnarfjordur, Isafjordur, and Sudureyri... so if there is a job available in this area, housing wouldn't be an issue for me. If not, I will be resourceful. I am willing to do any kind of work in Iceland. I am a teacher by trade, but I have much in the way of food service industry experience, as a sous chef, waiter, and prep cook. My interpersonal skills would make a job for me in the hospitality industry a no brainer. I love working with people, and I take pride in everything that I do. I have worked as a painter, gardener, and other manual labor jobs, and I enjoy this work as well. If there is any job available for me, please let me know. I would love to work for you or your company.
