Illinois - IT Jobs (Information Technology Jobs)
| When is it appropiate to apply for degreed postions if you are in the process of I have 18 credit hours to complete before I receive my bachelors in general studies degree (12/10). I have been unemployed for the last two years and I am in need of a job. I have worked as a CNA/ Unit secretary for the last 15 years in hospitals ER's, L&D's and home health agencies. With the economy as bad as it is I do not want to go back to working in a nursing home doing back breaking work. I would like to use the degree that I will have soon. I have 116 credit hours and I would like the chance to prove I am able to work at a bachlors degree level. I have know of people actually landing a job contingent upon the fact they are earning a degree in 30 creidt hours or so. How can I find jobs willings to give me a chance to do so too? Should I change my resume around to reflect I have the training, or am I wasting my time trying to prove anything? I am looking for jobs with the state of Illinois, human service, health education, community health, non-profits, hospitals admin or general services or administration. |
