Architect couple from India seeking suitable job What type of job/role are you looking for? We are seeking a job which provides us a global exposure and gives us an opportunity to travel and see new places. An ideal role would be a managerial role related to field of works of Architecture,Interiors,Construction & Project Management What nationality are you? We are both from India. Currently based in the commerical capital of India, Mumbai. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? We both have studied with English as a medium of instruction, thus are fluent with English and apart from that we speak our native languages, Hindi, Tamil, Manipuri. We also are fast at picking up langagues so should not be a problem to adapt to a new location. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? We are open to relocation to any location abroad which has the best blend of natural beauty and cosmo lifestyle. What countries have you worked in? Though, we have not worked for any set duration in any other country other than our own,we have travelled enough and have been on Exchange programs for over a month to Germany, Srilanka, Newzealand, and place like Thailand,Singapore. What countries do you have a visa to work in? We are eligible to get work visa as we are both degree holders and have a good number of years of work experience though officialy it wil be our new employers who will have to arrange for work permits/Visa. What field do you currently work in? I am working with a Fortune500 Company, Reliance Indutries Ltd, at Mumbai and Head their National Design team to roll out value retail stores,which comprise Supermarkets & hypermarkets. My wife works with a top builder, Lodha group, in Mumabi and they do high end skyscappers & hospitality projects. What fields have you worked in before? We have exposure to working with International brands as both of us have worked with the very best in the Industry and emminent Architects like Charles Correa,thus we have spanned accross all domains of Design ranging from pure Architectual design to landscaping, to interiors, to product design ,furniture design and of course retail design. What qualifications do you hold? We both hold a Bachelors in Architecture, it's a 5 year degree course after class 12th. It is from a reputed college affiliated to the Mumbai University and we both are registered with the Council Of Architecture, India as licensed Architects. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Education sets the foundations and the aquired skills provide the necessary means to turn dreams into reality. Both are interdependent. Describe the benefits of working with others We are young, thus ate very adaptable and love being around people and as we have friends all over the globe, we storngly beleive in team efforts and it is imperative to work and cooperate with others as we live in a society. What unique skills do you have? We both are experinced in most of the softwares used in the industry and with our pleasing persona and quick learning ablity find it easy to pick up new ways of working and adapt to new working styles.
