I am a first class winding engine driver and have a job experience of 23 years. What nationality are you? Indian What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Hindi - Very good English - good What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I am looking for a job anywhere around the world but preferably near India. I am an Indian, so it would be better for me to work around this place so that I won't have much problems in visiting my family. But this doesn't mean that I won't work anywhere else. I will work anywhere in the world as I need a job very much. What countries have you worked in? I have worked only in India till now. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I am Indian. So can definitely work anywhere in India. I don't have the visa for other countries, yet I will have no problems in acquiring them if needed. What field do you currently work in? I currently work in the mechanical department as a winding engine driver. What fields have you worked in before? I have the experience of working as a mining mate and foreman. What qualifications do you hold? I have studied B.Com. In the industry line, I hold the degree of a first class fire-and-safety officer,first class winding engine driver, mate and first class blaster. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider skills better than formal education although formal education also has an important place. Yet, skills are more important from the practical and industrial point of view. It is your skills that are mostly needed by a company and what will benefit the company. Describe the benefits of working with others Nowadays, works have become so diverse and complicated that its almost impossible to work and complete the task all by oneself. So its utmost necessary to work in groups having a common goal to achieve the ultimate task that is desired. Also man is a social animal. He always needs others and is also needed by them. We get to know the people when we work in groups. Also, we enjoy working with others and we like working with others. Describe the benefits of working alone The most important benefit of working alone is that we can fully concentrate on our task. There is nobody to disturb you and there is no chance of your mind being distracted from your task. What was your worst working experience? I don't have any bad experience as such on my job. Yet my worst experience was that moment when it was declared that our mines was going to shut down and so we had to lose our jobs in 2003. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Work hard achieve the best. Try to put the best of your efforts and you will surely be rewarded. Enjoy your job and then only will you succeed. What unique skills do you have? I am a first class winding engine driver and have been awarded the best winding engine driver at my place. Also I have worked as a safety officer, mining mate and foreman. I think that having these diversified knowledge is unique in itself. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would love to work as the managing director of a small firm. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I enjoy my job. The pay scale in this job was better than even the mining mates due to which I left the job as a mining mate(supervisor) to work in this field. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? There isn't much scope of getting to higher posts in this field. Why are you the best person for this job ? I have a vast amount experience in this field.
