| my soon to be brother in laws told me I ruined my fiance's life? My fiance moved from California to Indiana to be with me, so we could live together and start our life. He has had a hard time finding a job, since he's only been here a few months and no places are really hiring at this point. Because of that, he decided he was just going to go back to school. Everything was fine up until last night, when his brother called him. Half way through their conversation his brother tells him that he should move back to California without me, that way he can get his life "together" and he could get his old job back. He then went on to say that my fiance had made a mistake moving here, and that I ruined his life and also that he was wasting his life on me and it was my fault that he's in the rut he's in right now, and that it's my fault he has no job. For twenty minutes, he kept making those kind of hurtful comments and when I had confronted my fiance's brother about it, and told him it was disrespectful of him to say those things, he told me to shut the f*** up and that he messed his life up over some girl and did everything in his power to get me into tears. His younger brother even agreed, so this makes the situation even worse because now I have two people hating me. I have been nothing but nice to his brothers and have no idea what I did to deserve this. It seems like they don't know how to do anything but run their mouth and interfere in my fiance's life. He's 20 years old and they act as if they can control his decisions. I'm extremely upset because of what they said and I need some kind of input. Is there anything I can do to make this better? Should I try talking to them? Help. I'm confused and very hurt. |
