Journeyman Heavey Equipment OperatorWhat type of job are you looking for? Contruction , I have 13 years as a journeyman Heavey Equipment Operator out of Indiana I.U.O.E. local #103 . I am able to operate many different machines masterfully . My specialties are infrastructure and utility work but also have many hours on road crews, demolition and building trades . Journeyman status with IUOE local #103 , first-aid -cpr , Osha safety training with updated cards . Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills , because there will always be a need for someone like my to dig build , demolish , etc. Describe the benefits of working with others Able to learn lessons not yet known . Being onsite of a fatal accident What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned to master my trade . What unique skills do you have? Excavator , back-hoe , dozer , pan , off road trucking , ditch safety , leadership . What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I work my dream job everyday doing what I love to do , Operate . What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Constantly changing enviroment . What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Sitting and waiting to be able to start a job . Why would I like to work outside the US in Haiti ? I would like to be able to see and work in a different country other than my own , especially to help a greif stricken community .
