| Answers: In Iowa does a company legally owe me for expenses incurred after worki I accepted a sales executive position with a large telecom company. My first day they asked me to drive to a customer meeting which was 275 miles from the local corporate office. On the second day I met with my supervisor and by the end of the day I realized that I had made a mistake taking that job. I called first thing on the third day and resigned stating that this was not the job I thought it was going to be. The supervisor states that they will pay me for the two days worked but that they will not reimbuse me for my mileage expense. Can they legally do this? Don't they owe me for expenses incurred working the position? |
