I have a diploma from Delgado Comunith Coladge,am a journeyman Inside Machinest & Welder. I have worked in the Machine & Welding fields for over 30 years,With tools and as a superviser for the last 22 years. I also have a pas port, seaman papers, and TWIC card. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? They are both important, without a formal education I wouldn't have had the education to develop my trade & management skills. My skills are the most valuable, they are a bigest part of what helps me make the world a beter place. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work will make a job go alot smother. More eyes, ears, and brain power. It all helps, when having a broader view of a job. There will be less mistakes & a safer working enviorment. Describe the benefits of working alone Some jobs are only a one person job, do to size & location. Working by your self on a project like that, can help with the speed, and quility of the work being done. What was your worst working experience? Going on a job that was to be 3 days round trip and having it be 6 weaks long. Liveing out of the country with out any insite of were and when the job would arive at our loaction, and limited amount of funds to survive on. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Never take what someone or the prints say untill you double check it for mistakes. What unique skills do you have? I am an indide and outside machinest, welder and can weld with any kind of machine, and am capble of ex-ray quility work doing mig,stick or tig welding. I can run boats up to 50 tons.I will survive & thrive in any kind of work & living enviorment. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A great place to work, people that you can work with that are responsible at what they can do. Good work enviorment With everything that is needed to complete the job.
