What type of job are you looking for?

NGO job

What nationality are you?

I am a Chinese from the PRC.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I can speak fluent Chinese and English. Reading and writing also no problem

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

anywhere. The reason for searching a NGO job is that I am aching to do some meaningful stuff. To me, working in NGO is meaningful. It has nothing to do with location

What countries have you worked in?

China, Malaysia

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

not yet

What field do you currently work in?

Research, education

What fields have you worked in before?

Researcher, Administration, Editor, Trainer

What qualifications do you hold?

Just finished my PhD programme in Arts and Social Sciences field

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

If I have to put these two into comparison, then I would like to choose Skill.No matter how much head knowledge you have, the point is whether you can apply it to your work or not.

However, If I have choice, I may say that education + skills = good job

Describe the benefits of working with others

You might learn a different way of doing things or thinking about things. Each and everyone of us has our own unique gift. In a team, some are great with details, some see the big picture clearly, others are good at presenting ideas, still others are great at helping the process along---

Besides, it can spread the workload, share responsibility and be able to do something bigger and better

Can work to your own timescale and use your own methods

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Keep smiling to all situations, good time and bad time.

Always believe that a positive attitude can work things out.

Besides all the skills, I have a passionate and compassionate heart.

Working for those organizations which really bring benefits to the people.
