I am an outgoing person, who loves working and interacting with the public. i have always worked within busy environments and i just love to working in lively atmospheres What nationality are you? I am english What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak English and i speak fluent Italian as i lived there for 4 years and took exams at a university. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would love to work again in Italy as i miss the country and i feel more at home there. I prefer to speak Italian any day over English!! Within the restaurant-club and bar What fields have you worked in before? I was a personal groom for an Italian eventer and i followed him around Europe to different competitions. I have worked in many English pubs, a few clubs, restaurants, patisseries and a hair dressers for some work experience. What qualifications do you hold? I have 7 G.C.S.E at grade C and 3 at grade D. I also have a few British Horse Society exams and an Intermediate diploma in Italian. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? In my opinion skills as many people learn in different ways. I am a visual learner and i think you can pick up skills easily and skills you will use throughout your life. Education teaches you but with skills you can tell what sort of character and what personality you have whilst picking up useful things in life. Describe the benefits of working with others I think as a team you work so much better as you are like a unit. Within a team your work colleagues also become friends and therefore you are happy to go to work and the atmosphere is always high. Also you can never learn everything by yourself working with others helps you gain more experience and learn new things. You are also seen as being capable of interacting which is also a good quality. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is also a useful way of showing your capability and how you react to everyday problems. Knowing you don't also have to be dependent on other people. What was your worst working experience? Working at a hairdressers. I did not enjoy the job at all. When i work with lots of people i like to work with both sex's. Within the salon it was all female and i always felt there was tension in the air and the atmosphere was low. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? How to deal with everyday situations by myself in a foreign country and that you should always treat people how you would like to be treated. Also you have to wake up everyday wanting to go to your job and be happy! What unique skills do you have? I am very good at entertaining people. I love to talk to the public, Ive always been outgoing but after living in Italy it took me to a whole new level of confidence. I am not afraid of trying anything. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Either working with horses so i can work with what i am most passionate about or to working in a bar and later in life gain the skills and quality's to one day own a bar abroad.
