Certified in IT Essentials I,II. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Give me skills over education any time. A skill is an ability to perform some physical action, usually applied to work or hobby and perhaps comparable to another work. At least I know that person can achieve the task. Look around you at some of the famous people and you will see most of them didn't have formal education but achieved what they did because of their skills, their attitude and their ability to perform. Formal education only gives you the theory most of the time and not the practice.
