Pharmacy Student at present

Computing at Hilton Hotel Kingston Jamaica

What qualifications do you hold?

High School Diploma now pursuing Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I prefer skills because it makes you employable as well as one can do Both Education has their place in society. Formal education is applicable to those person

Describe the benefits of working with others

1.Reduce the work load and pressure, especially in the health field where assistance is necessary to give better care and meet the patient need. 2. More ideas to pull from especially in a difficult situation where it is necessary for a second opinion. 3. Less time consuming because more people get the job done faster.

Describe the benefits of working alone

1. Task completed at your own convenience and within one concentration. 2. Helps to worker to focus more on the job and less distraction. 3. Helps the individual to work with time management. 4. Job done within limit as you will be required to fulfill a given task on a daily basis

What was your worst working experience?

Moving Company in the United States.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

1. Time management 2. Reduce mistakes or patient will die.

What extracurricular activities do you participate in?

1. Community service 2. Sports 3. drama 4. singing 5. playing chess

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Manufacturing Pharmacist or research.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspect of the pharmacy field is learning about the different drugs as well as the mode of action in order to better assist patients in drug therapy. Also able to design new drugs so patients will be comfortable taking with minimal adverse effects.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Consultant, even though this aspect is a crucial part of patient care not many patients stop to be hear what to do with the medication you dispense and so it makes it least attractive to pharmacist especially in Jamaica

What contribution can you make in your field?

My contribution to Pharmacy is to research and develop new drug designs in order to have more patient acceptability and compliance to drug therapy. Also conduct workshops so other pharmacist can join in and help
