Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider formal education to be more valuable. If one has a formal education, the aquisition of new skills will be an easier task due to the knowledge that one has to draw on as they learn new skills. Formal education offers knowledge that can be used in all facets of life, while skills are more localized to the task at hand.

Describe the benefits of working with others

When people work together the workload is distributed hence reducing the burden for any one person. The ideas of everyone has can be pooled to give a great outcome. In the classroom cooperative effort result in students striving for mutual benefit so that all group members gain from each other's efforts.

The most important lesson I have learnt is that struggling readers just need a little motivation and a teacher who will give them extra attention.

The students are the most interesting aspect of my field. The greatest joy for me as a teacher comes from teaching to meet the needs of each child and seeing a positive change in my student’s behaviour as a result.
