What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a job in the education sector as a teacher of Business Courses and/ or Computer Studies

What nationality are you?

My nationality is Jamaican

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

My native language is Standard English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

My options at this are open as to the country I wish to work in because I am open to experience other cultures which will help to broaden my views about countries other than mine.

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in Jamaica

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I had a visitor's visa to the United States of America but never held a work visa

What field do you currently work in?

I am currently unemployed

What fields have you worked in before?

I worked May-August 2010 as an Administrative Assistant I have worked for an International Insurance Company August 2006-Sept 2007

What qualifications do you hold?

My qualifications include: Bachelors of Education in Business & Computer Studies Certificate in Pre-University Arts & Business

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both to be very valuable to a person because the society would be able to function solely on formal education and vice versa because of their interconnectedness both depend on each other.

Describe the benefits of working with others

There are a number of benefits that may be derived from working with someone both for yourself and the other person with whom you are working with. Some benefits include: getting the job done in less time, friendship, getting new ideas about how to do something, introduction to a new culture, respect of that person's culture, it widens ones educational horizon, interaction, reduction of stressors etc.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone may benefits in more than one ways. Some are: More focus, less idling

What was your worst working experience?

My worst work experience is where I was not being challenged as the office did not have enough work to be done and I finish my duties and tried to find other tasks to complete.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

The most important lesson I have learnt throughout my career is, never think you can accomplish all things by yourself.

What unique skills do you have?

I am a people person, I am good working in groups and get along well with others. I am very good in typing, I have knowledge of Peachtree and Quick Book Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Editor and Publisher

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A job that takes me into the classroom and a paycheck to pay off my Student Loan and still have money to survive on and assist my little brother who is in University.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspect of my field is the fact that no day is ever the same and with each class comes new challenges.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

All areas in the teaching profession is interesting the least though would be the conditions under which work has to be carried out.

Is education the only field you see yourself in?

At this point in time I am not limiting myself to just the education sector as from my past experiences they were not just in education but also took in other fields.
