What countries do you have a visa to work in? America. What field do you currently work in? Marketing. I have worked on a market research project this summer after graduating college. It ended a few weeks ago and I am currently in search of full time employment. What fields have you worked in before? Retail. I managed a local Domino's Pizza while I was in college. What qualifications do you hold? I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Skills, because formal education rarely adequately prepares you for the challenges of real life. An exception would be highly specialized fields, such as a surgeon or lawyer. In my search for a post-college career, I have found that almost all employers value related work experience higher than education. Describe the benefits of working with others You can accomplish more with teamwork. People can feed off each others ideas and ultimately come to a better solution or conclusion. It also builds relationships to be in a well organized team. I specialize in building relationships. Describe the benefits of working alone You are less likely to be distracted. Some people like to do all the work themselves, rather than having to put faith in team members. What was your worst working experience? Working as a bag-boy in a local grocery store. Cleaning the restrooms was a nightly chore. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Always be open to learn something new every day, and keep an open mind. What unique skills do you have? My people skills are extraordinary. I am very adaptable and love to make people smile. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Improving the conditions in the Johnston Atoll. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Being able to change the way people think about things. I love being able to make a change in the world, even if it is in a very small way. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? So far, it would be the process of proving to people that I am a quick learner and one of the best employees they will ever have. What makes you happy? Making other people happy.
