A well-established Engineering & Architectural consultancy headquartered in Jordan.

Has a requirement for Junior, Intermediate, Senior, and Team Leader HIGHWAY DESIGN ENGINEERS.

The roles are particularly suited to Jordanian nationals working elsewhere in the Middle East but wanting to return to Jordan.

REQUIREMENTS FOR JUNIOR POSITIONS

0 TO 2 YEARS ROAD / HIGHWAY DESIGN EXPERIENCE.

ROAD / HIGHWAY DESIGN SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERMEDIATE POSITIONS

2 TO 5 YEARS ROAD / HIGHWAY DESIGN EXPERIENCE.

BACHELOR DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING.

EXPERIENCE WITH AUTOCAD LAND DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR POSITIONS

6 TO 10 YEARS ROAD / HIGHWAY DESIGN EXPERIENCE.

BACHELOR DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING.

EXPERIENCE WITH AUTOCAD LAND DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE.

CAPABLE OF MANAGING MORE THAN ONE PROJECT AT A TIME.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEAM LEADER POSITION

MINIMUM OF 12 YEARS ROAD / HIGHWAY DESIGN EXPERIENCE

BACHELOR DEGREE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING.

EXPERIENCE WITH AUTOCAD LAND DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE.

CAPABLE OF LEADING MORE THAN ONE TEAM AT A TIME.

My name is Peter Convery, I am from Ireland.

I worked as an engineer for Northstone-ni, one of Irelands Largest highway surfacing Contractors for almost two years. I have all the requirments you have asked for in the vacancy post apart from the bachelor in Civil Engineering, but I do have a National Diploma in Construction and A part HNC in Building Studies.

I have a very competent person working on Highway design and construction.

My qualifications may lack but my previous employers have handed me management roles shortly after joining as I work very hard and can work well under pressure.
