Interior or Graphic DesignerWhat type of job are you looking for? I'm looking for a job as an interior or graphic designer at an institute. What nationality are you? I have a Jordanian and American Nationality. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak fluent English and Arabic languages. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would like to work in jordan because I'm staying there for the summer. What countries have you worked in? I've worked in Saudi Arabia. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Saudi Arabia. I also have a Jordanian passport and an American passport... What field do you currently work in? I work in interior designing. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked in Interior Designing. What qualifications do you hold? I've studied two years of university in Saudi Arabia. I've also taken additional courses in Jordan for graphic and interior design. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider skills more valuable because they are more useful when it comes to the work field. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others can be very useful since each person has different skills that they could be combined together to make a great team. Also, it can help in making the best decisions and dividing the work between the people in the group. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is useful for creativity and vreating a unique design with a concept. Moreover, working alone makes it easier for you to make decisions and helps you avoid issues with people like when you're working with a group of people. What was your worst working experience? I was working as an interior designer while I was studying in the university for 7 months. I worked with residential and commercials designs which included designing houses, gardens, offices, and stores. Also, I have made presentationa, attended meetings with clients, and went to furnishing stores. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? There are many lessons that i learned from my career. I learned that working hard is mostly for my own benefit, and I learned to never give up on myself. What unique skills do you have? Designing Skills: Interior Design, Graphic Design, image editing, basic furniture design, flooring, furnishing interiors, and logo designing. Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excell, Powerpoint, Movie Maker, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Other Skills: Artistic, drawing, photography, researching, writing, communication and time management skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I actually don't have a specific 'dream job', but I would like to have a job with various and different tasks, which has a cooperative team, and enables me to design freely, What are the most interesting aspects of your field? There are many interesting parts in my field. The most interesting part is creating the designs themselves. Then, putting them into action and making a presentation of your designs. I like meeting with clients, discussing their needs, and making it all happen for them. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The least intersting part would be if I had to stand to check and moniter the workers outside in a project site. Describe your working experience?
