What type of job are you looking for?

English language teacher for high school students, and fresh university students

What nationality are you?

I'm Jordanian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Arabic(native), English (high level/excellent-advanced, French (intermediate)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Jordan (Amman/Irbid);those areas are easily reacheable (besides, I live in Amman)

What countries have you worked in?

England, Jordan, Aritrea

What field do you currently work in?

teaching

What fields have you worked in before?

translation with the UN

What qualifications do you hold?

BAs in English language, and a student in MAs in Applied Linguistics

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are valuable as many instiutions would ask for formal education while others care for skills required to run business. However, skills are more valuable because they tell what you are in terms of using the language and communicating with others.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Teaches you collaboration and team work, it acts like eye opener,i.e, it teaches how different you are from others and whether such difference is accepted or not.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Teaches self dependence, instills the spirit of competition

What was your worst working experience?

The first semester in teaching. Students were diversed and from different social backgrounds. It wasn't facile to deal with them differently and situationally.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

FLEXIBILTYY IS PARAMOUNT.

What unique skills do you have?

Flexible, hard working, ambitious, active facilitator in the class room

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To posess my own academy for teaching

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Working with new students of various interests all the time

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Working with so many planning sheets

What is special in teaching?

It is the feeling that you deal with tomorrows men as candles need to be lit. And I'm the one who works on that.
