The objective of the project is to promote growth of entrepreneurship and competitiveness of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) working through local business service providers of Business Development Services (BDS). A significant focus of the project will be placed on developing business consulting organizations and trainers specifically designed to service SMEs. The project will result in a substantial increase in productivity and capacity among SMEs to increase their sales both domestically and in foreign markets as well as increase the Government of Kazakhstan’s (GOK) capacity to design, manage, and implement development programs. 1.
