I value, to a great extent formal education. This is due to the fact that you can never just sit there and watch others learn and expect to gain formal education if you do not involve your mind and conscience. Skills can be picked up from observation then participation, or they can be in-born, through talent. But none of us are born with formal education and that is why the world of academics will forever be a weapon of man through this journey called life. The greatest insult to the human mind is being ignorant or withdrawing oneself from the need to know. Describe the merits of team-work. Working in a team in itself offers a continuous sense of motivation. It is not easy to give up when one is working in a team. It will always keep you going, hence stay focused, feel grounded and within a team, one gains more confidence as they learn from others and as they also see others learning from them. Describe the benefits of working individually. When working individually, you feel the need to always work to achieve your target as an individual. The mere feeling of letting yourself down exists at the back of your mind and for this reason, one is prompted to remain fully determined to evade failure. What was your worst working experience? My only example of a working experience was through my internship period mentioned above. This was when some of my colleagues lack self-motivation to pursue their roles and thus lose focus. What key lesson have you learnt throughout your career? Well, I cannot say I have a career yet but I am fresh and ready to learn. What unique skills do you have? I write poems, and have a nose for detail in everything I do. However small. Apart from this, I am an exceptional dancer as well as a swimmer. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being self-employed in itself is a job and one day I dream to start my own firm in the field of Image Consultancy under Corporate Communications Management. What interests you most about your field? I enjoy informing and enlightening people about social issues, especially those affecting our society. It feels good to know that you are empowering someone somewhere with information you have struggled to gather and mold into one detailed story ready for your audience. What are the most challenging issues about your field? The risks that a journalist has to undergo in the process of gathering facts for a story are sometimes a handful and many at times one may give up covering such stories in as much as they could be beneficial. What sets you apart from others seeking for the same job opportunity? I am self-motivated and have a passion to serve people with both my knowledge and skills in my field of study. I am relentless and I never settle for less if it is not the best. Hand in hand with this, I adapt fast and well to different environs and interact aptly and appropriately with colleagues within a working environment. How can potential employers contact you?
