I have been a research assistant for two years with IntraHealth International, I have volunteered for Family AIDS Iniative Responce, I have worked for Rift Valley Water Service Board under COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT What qualifications do you hold? I have a BSC (Environmental Science) from Maseno University Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are essential for success. Format education alone is not enough. You need the skill as well to suceed Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others enable one to learn different cultures,be a teamplayer,build good relations,able to handle crutism positively and reduce boredom Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone create confidence and self belief What was your worst working experience? Working in a team where a supervisor is not able to make up her own mind according to the situation on the ground and kept on calling the head office for every advice What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To have confident in myself and also to treat my workmets with the respect that they deserve regardless of the position they hold What unique skills do you have? Ability to adapt quickly to different situations and conditions. I have excellent knowledge of environmental conservation, project planning and management, participatory rural appraisal, rural and urban planning and sustainable development What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Director of an Ngo dealing in the conservation of our Environment locally and internationally for the benefit of current and future generations What are the most interesting aspects of your field? It is always beautifull to observe nature and seeing how God created the universe. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Majority of people still do not understand the role of environment in the well being of mankind and other living organisms In your own words, describe environment. To me environment is life.It include the biological aspect and the physical aspect.It also take into consideration the social and political aspects.
