Project planning and implementation What nationality are you? kenyan What languages do you speak (and at what level)? english, kiswahili and kikuyu What country or area are you looking to work in and why? in kenya, Because may projects are started for the benefit of the poor communities but this projects do not get to their completion and therefore our people do not benefit from them.I would like to use the knowledge i have acquired after undertaking a masters in project planning and management in university of Nairobi,so that projects are undertaken with the only motivation being that they are going to be completed in good time and help our suffering brothers and sisters who badly need their services. What fields have you worked in before? no other field apart from education. What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of education and Masters in projectb planning and management. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I would say that both formal education and skills are important and one cannot work in absence of the other. The reason being that whatb is learnt through formal education must be put in to practice. And on the other hand learnt skills must be accompanied by important principles and theories in tha field for one to survive. Describe the benefits of working with others Working as a team bring in diversity of knowlegde and skills this enhance production and efficiency of the organisation. Describe the benefits of working alone when working alone you develop the ability to make quick, responsible and accurate decisions, It also enhances creativity. What was your worst working experience? When i got to work late due to a bad traffic jam, when i got to the office i found the a headquarter supervisor sitted on my desk waiting for me to give him some documents that he needed.It was very embarassing. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To be patient and be cool under pressure. What unique skills do you have? Am creative, innovative and have good communication skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being incharge of a well coordinated program, with several successful projects under its wings. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Changing people's lives to become more positive and work hard to achieve their dreams. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I don't have a least interesting aspect of my field.
