What type of job are you looking for?

nursing job preferably in the rural community,since the rural population are in dire need of medical assistance as compared to the urban population a good example is in my home country kenya

What nationality are you?

kenyan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

my native language(dholuo),my national language kiswahili and english,at college level,but i am a fast learner and can learn any language of interest as i work and interact

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Botswana preferably rural botswana,i looking forward to experience the different cultral diversity betwen east and southern africa

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

none at the moment

What field do you currently work in?

research

What fields have you worked in before?

clinical area ie in hospital,community level but in all i have done the overall nursing

What qualifications do you hold?

diploma in nursing,certificates in short courses related to my nursing work

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

i consider all of them valuable because both of them combined brings about more competent and qualified person as opposed to either of them

it enables one share, exchange ideas and also enables one to consult in times of difficulties

easy to plan and organize oneself

What was your worst working experience?

i was working in a pedriatic ward and a baby i felt so attached from admission died i cried and handed over my shift to some one else,i felt so bitter with my self and blamed my self for the baby's death

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

that every patient/client is unique and should be treated so

What unique skills do you have?

i am good in managing children though i do not have any speciality in pedriatic nursing

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A job that will enable me develop my career in nursing at the same time an opportunity to further my education to the highest possible level

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

diversity of nursing and how it allows for one to practice any where in the world so long as you meet standards

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

getting used to dealing with sick people
